My name is Dinah.
I am the chapter leader for Sidewalk Talk in Oswego, NY USA
We will come together to have an online listening experience.
This is a chance to create connection, online, while many of us are remaining home. We are not helping by fixing but truly creating well communities by prizing our connection and belonging to each other.
We will divide our time evenly based on the number of people who come to our event so each person has a chance to share and be heard.
When someone shares, we will honor their experience by reflecting back what they share and validate their experience. We will not offer advice or share our own similar experience until it is our turn.
If you want to become an "official Sidewalk Talk listener" and learn the skills we use on the sidewalk, you can become a member for a sliding scale donation and then get trained on deepening your practice of listening.
